stop the insanity!

Being a mom is HARD. Being a single mom brings an additional set of challenges. Juggling everything on your own. The kids. The house. The money. The job. Co-parenting. Oh….and that pesky worry that your every move is messing up your children forever.

“A strong woman looks a challenge in the eye and gives it a wink.”

In 2014 I left my marriage. My divorce was not final until 2016. Read more about my story here.

That two years I would not have wished on my worst enemy. There were dark, dark days and staying positive was at times an exercise in futility.

During those two years I think I was naive enough to think that once my divorce was final the heavens would open and the sun would shine down and we would on go on our merry way.

I could not have been more wrong.

Co-parenting brought on a whole new set of challenges and I felt like I was being thrown a curve ball every day. I was struggling to stay positive and I wanted to be the best that I could be for my children. I needed support. I needed advice. I needed a community of women like me.

I designed this site to support moms like me who are just trying to stay positive and wink in the face of some incredible challenges. I hope that my stories and experiences can bring other moms together to support each other.

I want to inspire moms to share their stories. I hope you learn from mine.
